Im alright with typing, my WPM is a little above average, but Im worried about actually typing numbers. During the hiring process, do they test your ability to crunch the numbers Thanks in advance 11 comments share save hide report 75 Upvoted This thread is archived New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast Sort by best level 1 6 points 3 years ago The big four actually measures APM also known as audit papers per minute. ![]() Its my goal to get over 10,000 by fall View entire discussion ( 11 comments) More posts from the Accounting community Continue browsing in rAccounting rAccounting Primarily for accountants and aspiring accountants to learn about and discuss their career choice. ![]() Bean Counters 1.4k Online Created Apr 4, 2009 Join help Reddit App Reddit coins Reddit premium Reddit gifts about careers press advertise blog Terms Content policy Privacy policy Mod policy Reddit Inc 2020. This can cause headaches when you recorded your speed in KPH and need to know your speed in WPM. Because different words have different numbers of letters, it may seem as if it is difficult to know how many words your KPH rate represents. Instead, it assumes that each five characters represent a word. Because of that, you can convert KPH to WPM with simple math. You can do this with a typing program, an online typing test or by hand. The result is your number of keystrokes per minute because 60 minutes are in one hour. If your keystrokes per minute total is 400, for example, then your WPM is 80. ![]()
